MRI Phytosanitary Audit Services

 

In April, 2006, Microforestry Resources Inc., Las Vegas, Nevada, was authorized by the American Lumber Standards Committee to conduct phytosanitary audits for wood packaging material users and producers.  Our involvement with ALSC and the Heat Treatment program go back to the beginning of the program, however.  As managers of one of the largest US phytosanitary audit service providers we understand the requirements for compliance and the needs of those manufacturing heat treated lumber and those that need to use wood packaging for international shipping.

 HEAT TREATED LUMBER PROGRAM:

 

In order to use solid wood for crates, boxes, or containers, it needs to be heat treated and marked with a quality mark supplied by an agency authorized by the American Lumber Standards Committee.  MRI can assist you to manufacture and stamp solid wood for sale or use in international shipping.

 

ISPM 15 COMPLIANT SOLID WOOD PACKAGING MATERIAL PROGRAM:
